The latest edition of the Dubai Airshow has reached a historic milestone with deals surpassing $202 billion, reflecting Dubai’s growing influence in the global aviation industry. The 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow witnessed a massive turnout of 248,788 visitors, making it the largest in the event’s history. The large attendance included experts and decision-makers from various countries, enhancing the event’s status as one of the foremost global platforms in aviation. This year, over 1,500 exhibitors participated, including 440 organizations that joined for the first time, alongside military and civilian delegations from 115 countries.
Strategic Deals
Among the most notable deals, Emirates Airlines ordered 65 Boeing 777-9 aircraft and 8 additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with a total estimated value of $41.4 billion. Additionally, Flydubai signed a memorandum of understanding with Boeing to purchase 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft valued at $13 billion.
