The Abu Dhabi Police have implemented a comprehensive security and traffic plan to ensure the safety of participants and spectators during the upcoming ADNOC Half Marathon in Al Ain, scheduled for 2026. These efforts are part of the police’s ongoing commitment to supporting sporting events and enhancing public safety and security.
Extensive Security Measures in Place
As part of the plan, police and traffic patrols are set to be deployed across various race routes, which include distances of 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km. These measures are crucial for the successful execution of the sporting event.
Community Engagement and Coordination
The Abu Dhabi Police are dedicated to fostering a safe environment for all sporting activities by collaborating with event organisers and strategic partners. They have praised the commitment of the community members to adhere to traffic regulations and guidance from relevant authorities, demonstrating a strong spirit of cooperation.
