A delegation of 15 Emirati experts in artificial intelligence (AI) is currently undertaking a five-day visit to Silicon Valley, USA. The primary objective of this trip is to study cutting-edge technologies and the strategic decision-making processes that contribute to the development of advanced AI systems. The experts aim to gain insights that will facilitate the transition from research to widespread practical application.
Building Stronger Partnerships in Advanced Technologies
His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States, emphasised the importance of the UAE and US partnership in advanced technologies. He stated, “The UAE and the United States are building one of the most influential partnerships in advanced technologies, supported by significant investments in AI and technology infrastructure.” This visit presents a pivotal opportunity for the Emirati experts, who will lead future initiatives, to engage with companies and researchers actively contributing to the sector’s development, thereby establishing relations that advance the UAE’s national priorities and deepen cooperation between the two nations.
