UAE-India Business Council Launches 2026 Program

The UAE-India Business Council has launched the 2026 Program, aimed at enhancing economic and trade cooperation between the UAE and India through a series of initiatives and research. This program aligns with the strategic goals of both countries and provides a comprehensive framework that contributes to building sustainable and robust business relationships. The program encompasses multiple areas, including artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and consumer behavior, marking a new step towards achieving a deeper and more effective strategic partnership.

Integrated Strategic Pillars

The strategic roadmap for the 2026 Program is based on three main pillars: knowledge building, strategic facilitation, and direct communication. The program includes the preparation of a series of applied research papers focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence and infrastructure, as well as studying the role of sovereign wealth funds, consumer behavior, and supply chains. Joint projects in the African continent are considered a crucial part of this strategy, enhancing economic cooperation opportunities between the two countries.

India-UAE Conference and Growing Partnership

The year 2025 saw the first edition of the India-UAE Conference titled “Partners in Progress,” which brought together senior policymakers, investors, and business leaders from both countries. During this conference, a closed strategic meeting was held in Dubai with Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, contributing to the alignment on shared economic policies and priorities. These meetings emphasize the importance of future coordination, especially with the launch of the 2026 Program.

Council’s Commitment to Social Projects

The 2026 Program also includes projects that reflect the council’s commitment to advancing social infrastructure and healthcare. Among these projects is the UAE-India Friendship Hospital, led by founding trustees and council members. Additionally, the “Dream School” initiative in Kashmir aims to expand educational opportunities and skill development, reflecting the council’s interest in achieving sustainable development in underserved areas.

Expanding Trade and Investment Cooperation

The council is keen on leading a series of dialogues and reciprocal trade missions between the UAE and India, contributing to cooperation in priority sectors such as advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and fintech. The ultimate goal is to enhance the volume of bilateral trade and investment to reach $200 billion. Through the 2026 Program, the council positions itself as a link between political vision and economic execution, supporting a renewed and fruitful strategic partnership between the UAE and India.
