Sharjah Ladies Club’s “Your Summer with Us” programme continues until 29 July, offering girls across the emirate a varied schedule of interactive workshops and activities designed to combine learning with enjoyment.
Run by Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, one of the institutions within the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, the programme brings together practical and creative experiences across several cities and districts in Sharjah. Its activities are aimed at broadening participants’ skills while supporting their personal and social development in a lively summer setting.
Creative workshops across Sharjah
The programme is being delivered through Sajaya’s three centres in Sharjah, Kalba and Khorfakkan, with a particular effort to hold distinctive workshops in the Central Region, as well as in Al Hamriyah and Dibba Al Hisn. This approach reflects the institution’s commitment to making its quality programmes accessible to girls throughout the emirate and to providing them with equal educational and developmental opportunities.
The workshops and hands-on activities cover design and the arts, crafts, innovation, cooking and Emirati heritage, alongside other sessions that help strengthen participants’ personal and social skills. Together, they are intended to foster creative and critical thinking within an engaging summer experience that balances benefit and enjoyment.
Partnerships supporting the programme
“Your Summer with Us” is being held in cooperation with a number of partner organisations and institutions, including Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah, the Family Development Centre building in Al Madam, Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, and Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club. These partnerships help create a richer summer experience that combines learning with practical application.
The programme also includes the participation of “Police Friends” in interactive activities that contribute to honing the leadership and social skills of participants, while reinforcing the values of cooperation, discipline and responsibility through inspiring educational experiences that bring together usefulness and enjoyment.
