الشارقة 24 – وام:
The UAE National Program for Medical Readiness and Response, known as “Jahiziya,” has unveiled a pioneering initiative titled the National Readiness Accelerator Program, or “Musharraat.” This groundbreaking programme aims to establish a cohesive national framework for specialised training, adhering to the highest international standards and best practices. The initiative is designed to enhance the readiness of the first line of defence while improving the efficiency of field and virtual responses in both governmental and private state institutions.
fostering an environment for innovation and creativity
The programme embodies a national vision to cultivate an environment that encourages innovation and creativity. It features a unified integrated platform that connects national leaders with top global universities, specialised training centres, and international advisory councils. This collaboration aims to accelerate the exchange of experiences, tackle challenges, and develop solutions, launching joint initiatives that bolster national readiness and enhance the capabilities of local personnel to manage diverse scenarios and risks.
Core, Specialised, and Leadership Strategic Pathways
Dr. Adel Al-Shamari Al-Ajmi, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative and President of the UAE Doctors Initiative, as well as of the Jahiziya programme, explained that the training framework encompasses core, specialised, and leadership strategic pathways. These include leadership and command, business continuity, management of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive risks, data management and operations rooms, and managing major and mass casualty incidents. These programmes are essential for practising the profession and renewing licenses for personnel in the first line of defence according to regulatory laws and guidelines.
A Global Model in Proactive Readiness Investment
Professor Roberto Migliavero, President of the European Centre for Disaster Medicine, noted that the UAE has established a global model for investing in proactive readiness. This is achieved through a supportive environment that fosters the development of advanced training programmes tailored to actual needs, enhancing local personnel’s decision-making skills and their ability to work within integrated teams, as well as respond effectively to various scenarios and emergencies.
A Strategic Platform to Accelerate Achievements
Migliavero further added that the National Readiness Accelerator Program “Musharraat” serves as a strategic platform to accelerate achievements, address challenges, and develop human capital. It aims to prepare certified leaders and trainers, contributing to the establishment of a sustainable national training system. This initiative will prepare licensed personnel capable of transferring expertise, instilling a culture of readiness and emergencies, enhancing professional practices, and ensuring the continuity of vital services. This aligns with the UAE’s aspirations towards a future characterised by greater readiness, resilience, and preparedness.
