Awarding a substantial construction contract worth 618 million dirhams for the development of the Anantara Sharjah Resort marks a significant milestone for Arada. This luxurious seaside destination, located on Al Hira Beach in Sharjah, aims to elevate the region’s hospitality sector. The project not only underscores Arada’s commitment to creating premium lifestyle spaces but also enhances Sharjah’s allure as a prime tourist and residential hotspot.
Arada has awarded a construction contract valued at 618 million dirhams for the development of the Anantara Sharjah Resort and Anantara Sharjah Residences, the luxurious seaside destination on Al Hira Beach in Sharjah. The contract has been awarded to Intermass Engineering and Contracting, with construction expected to be completed within a 24-month period. Site preparation and foundation work have already been completed, and construction is ongoing at this contemporary destination, which will feature the luxurious Anantara hotel and 128 upscale residential units under the renowned hospitality brand.
As the project owner, Arada is responsible for developing Anantara Sharjah Residences and Anantara Sharjah Resort, which will be operated by Minor Hotels. The development boasts stunning architecture, including a gateway designed to follow the path of the sun. The complex is situated on the northeastern edge of Al Hira Beach, an exceptional tourist destination featuring a 3.5 km beachfront, dedicated running and cycling paths, and a wide array of upscale restaurants and cafes.

The residential options at Anantara Sharjah include one to four-bedroom apartments, as well as two-story penthouses with private balconies and rooftop pools. All units feature high-end interior designs and luxurious finishes, including premium flooring, top-brand kitchen appliances, spacious living areas, and large floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto private balconies with exceptional views.
Residents will benefit from a range of shared amenities, including five upscale restaurants, a large infinity pool with sea views, Anantara Spa, a kids’ club, meeting rooms, an event hall, and fitness clubs for both men and women. Anantara Sharjah Resort and Anantara Sharjah Residences represent the brand’s first presence in Sharjah and set new standards for upscale hospitality in the northern Emirates.
