Celestyal Launches Engaging Winter Cruises in the Arabian Gulf

Celestyal is making waves in the cruise industry by launching exciting new cruises for its winter Sun season in the Arabian Gulf. This initiative includes four new 14-night repositioning cruises, showcasing two brand-new destinations: Jordan and Saudi Arabia. As travelers seek unique experiences, Celestyal’s winter Sun offerings promise an unforgettable adventure filled with cultural richness and stunning landscapes.

These upcoming cruises will not only introduce guests to Jordan and Saudi Arabia but also include five maiden calls at noteworthy ports: Aqaba in Jordan, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Muscat in Oman, Sharm El Sheikh, and Ain Sukhna in Egypt. The addition of these locations marks a significant expansion for Celestyal, heralding its return to Egypt after a two-year hiatus.

“A new 14-night ‘Ancient Athens to Amazing Abu Dhabi’ itinerary will be available across the two-ship fleet,” the company shared. Another familiar route, the ‘Dazzling Doha to Ancient Athens’ cruise, is set to charm returning guests and newcomers alike.

Celestyal’s Winter 2025 Sailings

The Celestyal Journey is poised to depart Athens on November 22, 2025, featuring a route that includes Port Said and maiden stops at Sharm El Sheikh, Aqaba, Jeddah, and Muscat, before concluding in Dubai and returning to Abu Dhabi on December 6, 2025—just in time for the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. This itinerary exemplifies the excitement of Celestyal’s winter Sun season in the Arabian Gulf.

Meanwhile, the Celestyal Discovery will embark from Athens on November 28, 2025. Following the same pathway, it will make an additional call at Kusadasi, Turkey, culminating in its first-ever arrival in Abu Dhabi on December 13, 2025, just ahead of its inaugural winter season.

The two outbound repositioning cruises will also offer bookable segments ranging from four to 13 nights, catering to the varying preferences of travelers. This flexibility enhances the appeal of Celestyal’s winter Sun season in the Arabian Gulf, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of potential cruisers.

This latest announcement follows the successful return of Celestyal Journey to Athens, marking the end of a triumphant maiden season in the Arabian Gulf. The season’s bookings exceeded targets by an impressive 27 percent, underscoring the cruise line’s growing popularity, especially with its homeporting in Doha, Qatar, as part of a three-year partnership with the country.

Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer at Celestyal, reflected on the company’s achievements: “2024 was a record-breaking year for Celestyal, with our highest-ever bookings, thanks to the incredible support of our guests, regional partners, travel agents, and staff. As we look ahead, we remain committed to delivering unmissable experiences for our guests.”

For those eager to experience Celestyal’s winter Sun season in the Arabian Gulf, prices for these cruises start at $339 per person for a four-night voyage, while 14-night cruises are available from $1,029 per person, ensuring accessible luxury for a broad audience.
