Dubai Police Raises Awareness Among Students About Sports Commitments in Stadiums
Dubai Police, through the “Your Commitment is Happiness” initiative, aims to raise awareness among students regarding sports commitments in stadiums. These awareness lectures focus on the importance of adhering to the laws governing behavior at sporting events, in accordance with Federal Law No. 8 of 2014 concerning the security of facilities and sporting events. Through this initiative, the police hope to promote sports values and instill the concept of positive encouragement within stadiums.
The Importance of Communication with Students
The lecture was held at the American School of Creative Science in Nad Al Sheba, where Lieutenant Nabt Sultan Al Ketbi emphasized the importance of communicating with different segments of the sports audience. Al Ketbi stated that the “Your Commitment is Happiness” initiative aims to build a trusting relationship between Dubai Police and the public, focusing on instilling a culture of positive encouragement. He noted, “The initiative works to raise public awareness about the limits of encouragement according to the federal law concerning the security of facilities and sporting events.”
The Role of Federal Law in Protecting Athletes
Lieutenant Al Ketbi pointed out that the federal law concerning the security of facilities and sporting events includes several provisions that ensure the safety of athletes and sports facilities. This law aims to provide advanced safety standards that align with international guidelines, contributing to the organization of sporting events with the highest levels of safety. This reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to enhancing safety in all sports activities.
Promoting Sports Culture in the Community
Through these initiatives, Dubai Police seeks to enhance sports culture within the community, contributing to the formation of a positive environment that encourages sports and fair competition. Sports commitments in stadiums are not solely the responsibility of players; they also encompass fans, whose behavior is a vital part of the sports experience. Therefore, raising awareness about these commitments contributes to achieving safety and smoothness during sporting events.
By providing informative content to students, Dubai Police hopes to guide the next generation toward adhering to sports values and promoting the concept of positive encouragement. These lectures are also considered an important step toward building a responsible and proactive sports community.
