Mohammed bin Rashid Issues Law for Dubai Police Academy
In a move that enhances Dubai’s position as a leading destination for security and training education, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Prime Minister, has issued Law No. (7) of 2026 for the Dubai Police Academy. This law outlines the main objectives of the academy and aims to strengthen its status locally, regionally, and internationally, establishing it as a distinguished center in the fields of policing, law, and security. The law addresses details regarding academic programs and licenses, focusing on developing elite competencies within the police and security community.
Objectives of the Dubai Police Academy
The Dubai Police Academy Law defines the academy’s objectives to establish educational programs characterized by quality and innovation. This includes providing education that keeps pace with developments in security and military operations and helps address modern cognitive and technological challenges.
