In a strategic move to boost trade and investment connections, the Dubai Chamber has established four important MoUs with various chambers of commerce across China. This initiative aims to cultivate stronger commercial ties among the business communities operating in Dubai and their counterparts located in key Chinese cities: Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Chongqing.

The agreements were signed during the recent “Dubai Business Forum – China,” held in Shenzhen. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, Director General of the Dubai Chamber, completed the MoUs with several key officials, including Zhang Jianwei, Chairman of the Beijing International Chamber of Commerce; Huang Xiaofeng, Vice President of the International Chamber of Commerce – Guangzhou; and Deng Lin, Vice Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce – Chongqing. Additionally, Saleh Al Shamsi, Vice Executive President for International Relations at Dubai Chamber, signed the agreement with He Shanshan, Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce – Shenzhen.

Lootah remarked, “We are committed to enhancing the openness of Dubai’s business community to priority markets through effective partnerships that facilitate direct communication between companies and enable the exploration of promising trade and investment opportunities. We also aim to develop a supportive ecosystem that empowers local private sectors to expand their international presence and benefit from experience and knowledge exchanges, ultimately enhancing their capacity to secure new partnerships and build sustainable business relations to contribute to the growth of trade and investment movements between Dubai and global markets.”

The MoUs are designed not only to strengthen existing relations but also to broaden commercial links and enhance collaboration among businesses. Particularly, the MoU with the International Chamber of Commerce – Chongqing focuses on supporting trade and investment promotion activities while facilitating the exchange of information related to international exhibitions, meetings, and commercial activities, thereby providing mutual support for participation in these events.

By signing these agreements during the “Dubai Business Forum – China,” the Dubai Chamber reinforces its role in establishing effective collaboration channels with international business institutions. This initiative paves the way for companies to communicate more easily and sets a supportive framework for developing mutually beneficial trade and investment relationships.

Furthermore, these agreements offer practical pathways for information and experience exchange, enabling the Dubai business community to expand its global relations and forge quality partnerships that support growth and expansion strategies. This aligns with the broader strategy of the Dubai Chamber to enhance the competitiveness of the private sector and widen its reach to international markets while contributing to sustainable economic growth in Dubai.
