Abu Dhabi Police Employ Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality to Raise Awareness of Drug Risks and Cybercrime
In an innovative step towards enhancing community safety, Abu Dhabi Police have unveiled the use of artificial intelligence and virtual reality in their awareness campaigns regarding the dangers of drugs and cybercrime. These initiatives are part of their participation in the fourth edition of the Military Police Exhibition for Combatting Drugs, which aims to raise awareness among youth and all segments of society about these risks.
Advanced Digital Initiatives
The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police showcases a range of digital initiatives aimed at spreading awareness and educating the public about drugs and cybercrime. According to Major Hassan Al Hammadi, head of the Drug Prevention Department, the purpose of this participation is to engage as many young people as possible through innovative technological methods.
Technology in Service of Awareness
The technological solutions presented by Abu Dhabi Police include AI Motion Video technology, which offers engaging visual content, as well as the use of virtual reality (VR) that allows users to realistically understand the effects of drugs. Through these applications, visitors interact with simulation experiences that mimic a drug-use environment, contributing to a deeper understanding of the associated risks.
Interactive Educational Tools
The Abu Dhabi Police booth also features smart interactive games as an entertaining educational tool, along with platforms displaying awareness videos and brochures. These tools aim to deliver awareness messages in a seamless and innovative manner, reinforcing the message of drug prevention and cybercrime awareness.
Cybercrime Awareness
In addition to its efforts in the field of drugs, the booth specifically focuses on raising awareness about cybercrime. Visitors are provided with information on how to protect themselves from digital threats, as well as safe practices for handling modern technology. Major Al Hammadi emphasized the importance of these initiatives in enhancing security culture and establishing direct communication channels with the public.
By employing artificial intelligence and virtual reality, Abu Dhabi Police reaffirm their deep commitment to protecting the community and providing a safe environment for all its members through awareness and the provision of essential information to deal with increasing risks.
