Design Inspired by Cultural Elements
The design of the UAE Pavilion, supervised by Her Highness Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for National Projects, embodies the concept of progress as a continuous human journey. It connects cultural heritage and knowledge with scientific exploration and future aspirations. Inspired by the slogan “From Earth to Ether,” the design draws on the symbolism of the date palm, presenting an innovative representation of the traditional “Arish” houses built from palm fronds, effectively marrying deep cultural ties with ambitious future outlooks and traditional Emirati architecture.

The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE and Deputy Prime Minister; His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, among other esteemed guests and UAE officials.
