The United Arab Emirates: A Unique Model of Progress and Heritage
Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Batti Al Hamed, the Chairman of the National Media Authority, has articulated the essence of nations’ greatness as their ability to embrace the future while firmly holding onto their historical roots. The UAE has astounded the world with its extraordinary paradigm—a nation characterised by skyscrapers that pierce the sky, juxtaposed with a rich historical legacy that has endured for thousands of years. This cultural heritage is not merely preserved but actively nurtured, showcasing the country’s commitment to both its environment and its cultural identity.
A Foundation of Values and Vision
Al Hamed noted that the late Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, laid the foundational pillars of this monumental nation, believing that heritage is not a burden on the future, but rather its cornerstone. Under his leadership, the UAE was built on values of development and generosity, becoming a beacon of progress.
Continuing the Legacy
Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, may God protect him, carries forward this mission with a vision that draws on the nation’s rich legacy while looking toward the future. This forward-thinking approach allows the UAE to serve as a bridge that connects the deep-rooted traditions of the past with the impressive achievements of the present and the promising horizons of tomorrow.
