The launch of the Tahnoun bin Zayed Scholarship for Excellence at Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence marks a significant step toward establishing the UAE as a global leader in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. This initiative aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, which seeks to solidify the country’s position among the leading nations in artificial intelligence and advanced technology. Under the guidance of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council, the Tahnoun bin Zayed Scholarship for Excellence in Artificial Intelligence has been launched to support undergraduate students at Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence.
The scholarship will commence during the 2025-2026 academic year and aims to enhance the capabilities of the next generation of leaders to achieve their aspirations in the field of artificial intelligence.
Supporting 350 Undergraduate Students
The Tahnoun bin Zayed Scholarship for Excellence in Artificial Intelligence aims to support approximately 350 undergraduate students over six years. Candidates will be carefully selected based on their academic merit and proficiency in mathematics, in addition to their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Opportunities to Represent the UAE at High-Level Events
In addition to financial support to complete their academic programs, eligible students will have exclusive opportunities to represent the UAE at high-level events both locally and internationally. They will also have access to essential resources to support their entrepreneurial projects and technological innovations, enhancing their chances of future success.
