Youth Social Scholarship Program Concludes Its Second Cohort within “The Brave Knight 3”
The Youth Social Scholarship Program has concluded its second cohort as part of the “Brave Knight 3” initiative launched by the United Arab Emirates to support our brothers in Gaza. This program aims to activate the role of Emirati youth in humanitarian relief efforts worldwide, contributing to the enhancement of the country’s humanitarian identity and the application of values of goodness and giving.
Ceremony to Honor Participants
The program organized a special ceremony in the city of Arish to honor the participants, where His Excellency Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation, recognized their efforts and successful experiences in supporting humanitarian projects in Gaza. During the ceremony, the fieldwork carried out by the volunteers was highlighted, along with the personal experiences they witnessed during their missions, which helped deepen their practical skills and instill values of solidarity and giving within them.
Visit to the Logistics Center and UAE Floating Hospital
On the sidelines of the ceremony, His Excellency Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi visited the UAE humanitarian aid logistics center in Arish, where he learned about the mechanisms for receiving and storing aid before it is sent to Gaza. He also toured the UAE floating hospital, getting acquainted with the medical services provided by the medical teams to the Palestinian brothers. He praised the significant work being done by all participants, both in the medical field and in supporting relief efforts.
Unique Personal Experiences
The participants of the second cohort of the Youth Social Scholarship Program had a rich field experience throughout the week. They assisted in preparing food parcels and attended the process of sending aid to Gaza. They also had the opportunity to visit the UAE floating hospital, allowing them to directly witness the efforts of the medical teams in providing specialized care.
One of the participants, Wasaif Saeed Al Shahi, expressed her experience by saying: “My participation in the UAE floating hospital was an opportunity to experience the meaning of giving firsthand.” She added, “Every parcel I prepared carries a part of our feelings to our brothers in Gaza and reflects the message of giving and solidarity from the UAE.”
Importance of the Program and Its Humanitarian Message
The Youth Social Scholarship Program is one of the prominent initiatives overseen by the Federal Youth Foundation, aiming to empower Emirati youth and enhance their awareness of the role the country plays in providing global aid. The “Brave Knight 3” initiative represents the UAE’s steadfast approach to supporting those in need through a comprehensive array of relief and medical initiatives, embodying the deep commitment to the humanitarian values established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
In conclusion, it is evident that the efforts of the Youth Social Scholarship Program within the “Brave Knight 3” initiative are not merely relief actions but a true expression of the Emirati identity that focuses on solidarity and giving in times of hardship.
