A new humanitarian convoy has entered Gaza, bringing vital winter clothing and shelter materials to support those affected by the ongoing crisis. This initiative, part of the “Brave Knight 3” operation, aims to provide essential aid, including winter coverings and vital shelter resources, to families facing harsh weather conditions.
Details of the New Convoy
Confirming its commitment to assist the Palestinian people, the UAE humanitarian aid convoy number 257 has entered the Gaza Strip as part of the “Brave Knight 3” operation to aid the Palestinian brothers. It is carrying shelter materials and winter clothing to enhance protection for families affected by the cold weather. The new convoy consists of 15 trucks carrying approximately 300 pallets of aid, with a total weight of around 182 tons of shelter materials and various winter clothing items, including tents and essential heating supplies, contributing to safer shelter for families who have lost their homes or been displaced.
Support from the Emirates Red Crescent
The convoy is supported by the Emirates Red Crescent, with a significant portion of its cargo allocated for winter clothing initiatives, including winter jackets and warm clothing for different age groups, including children, women, and the elderly. This aims to protect them from harsh cold waves and alleviate their suffering in camps and affected areas. The availability of these winter clothes is essential for maintaining the health and safety of those enduring difficult conditions.
Continuing Efforts to Meet Humanitarian Needs
The Emirates Red Crescent continues to coordinate with field teams of the “Brave Knight 3” operation to send specialized convoys focusing on shelter materials and winter needs, in response to the increasing humanitarian requirements in the Gaza Strip. This ensures the provision of basic living essentials for those in need, especially as the impact of falling temperatures intensifies on affected and displaced families. This ongoing effort is the result of effective collaboration among humanitarian partners and specialized agencies.
Ongoing Humanitarian Support
This convoy is an extension of a series of uninterrupted UAE aid convoys as part of the “Brave Knight 3” operation, which continues its humanitarian efforts to secure shelter, food, and basic care for the Palestinian people, in collaboration with humanitarian partners and agencies, foremost among them the Emirates Red Crescent. Their ongoing support reflects the UAE’s commitment to helping those in dire need.
