Exciting news has arrived for residents of Dubai Production City, formerly known as the International Media Production Zone (IMPZ), as VOX Cinemas has officially opened its doors at City Centre Me’aisem. This new addition marks a significant enhancement to the local entertainment scene, offering a convenient option for cinema enthusiasts who previously had to travel to nearby venues.
A New Cinema Experience
The newly opened cinema features six state-of-the-art screens, each equipped with LED technology. Unlike traditional cinemas that depend on projectors, these direct-view LED screens produce their own images. As a result, audiences can expect brighter pictures, deeper blacks, and sharper, more vivid visuals that elevate the movie-going experience. Coupled with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound, viewers can enjoy detailed and immersive audio, making each screening a comprehensive sensory delight.
What’s Playing?
The cinema’s current lineup boasts an impressive selection of films. Moviegoers can catch popular titles such as Avengers: Endgame, Cat in the Museum 2, Forgotten Island, and Heart of the Beast. Other options include Fall 2: Deadpoint, Practical Magic 2, Resident Evil, Smurfs, Tad & The Magic Lamp, along with regional offerings like Haiwaan (Hindi), I Am Game (Malayalam), and Red Flag (Egyptian).
Snack Attack
No trip to the cinema is complete without a snack. VOX Cinemas caters to cravings with its array of popular treats, including buttery popcorn, double cheese nachos topped with jalapeños, and classic hotdogs. Whether you’re there for the films or the food, there’s plenty to enjoy at the new location.
Booking Your Tickets
Planning a visit is easier than ever. Tickets can be conveniently purchased online at voxcinemas.com or through the VOX Cinemas app, allowing you to secure your seats ahead of time.
This opening is a notable milestone for the local community, enhancing leisure options for residents of Dubai Production City and its surrounding areas. With its innovative technology and varied film selection, VOX Cinemas at City Centre Me’aisem is poised to become a beloved destination for cinema-goers. Be sure to check it out!
