Emirates Reportage Development & Investment has made a significant move in the real estate sector by acquiring prime land for two gated communities in Dubai Investments Park Angola (DIP Angola). The UAE-based developer’s ambitious initiative, requiring an investment of around AED 1.8 billion (approximately US$500 million), aims to deliver high-quality residential options in this emerging market. This strategic acquisition underscores the growing interest in Angola’s economic landscape and its potential for innovative living spaces.
Acquisition Details and Development Plans
Emirates Reportage has successfully secured two land parcels totaling 10,764,000 sq ft within the master-planned community of DIP Angola. This initiative reflects the developer’s commitment to enhancing the residential landscape in Angola, providing opportunities for luxurious living and modern amenities.
The planned development includes two gated communities, each spanning 5,382,000 sq ft. The ocean-facing community is poised to offer a boutique hotel with 60 rooms, alongside 2,050 luxury villas and 4,000 sqm of retail space. Meanwhile, the hilltop community will comprise 2,500 townhouses, along with an additional 4,000 sqm of retail space, reinforcing the project’s appeal to diverse homeowners and investors alike.
Strategic Significance of DIP Angola
DIP Angola stands out as the first fully integrated economic zone in the region, developed by Dubai Investments. With engineering activities already underway, construction is set to begin in June 2026, and the project is expected to be delivered in phases, commencing handovers in Q4 2029, with full completion targeted for Q4 2030. This timeline illustrates Emirates Reportage’s methodical approach to developing quality living spaces that cater to the needs of the community.
Leadership Insights and Future Vision
Omar Al Mesmar, Chairman of Dubai Investments International Angola LDA, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. “Welcoming Reportage Group to DIP Angola represents a defining moment in our vision to establish a world-class, integrated community that sets new benchmarks for residential and mixed-use development in Angola,” he stated. His remarks highlight the importance of attracting innovative developers who can enhance the region’s growth prospects.

We aim to introduce two distinctive gated communities – one in the high-end luxury segment and the other in the business and mid-market segment – blending contemporary architecture, lifestyle quality, and environmental responsibility.”
The construction aspect of this ambitious project will be managed by Emirates Limited Investment and Development Company, a partner of Reportage Group. This partnership aims to create spaces that are not only aesthetically appealing but also sustainable and economically viable, marking a pivotal moment in the progress of DIP Angola.
