The UAE continues to provide medical support to the Gaza Strip by evacuating 119 patients and injured individuals for treatment in its hospitals. The United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with the World Health Organization, has carried out a new evacuation via Ramon Airport in Israel and the Kerem Shalom crossing. With this operation, the total number of injured individuals transported by the UAE to its healthcare facilities has reached 2,904, reflecting the country’s commitment to providing medical care amidst the current humanitarian crisis.
Pioneering Humanitarian Initiative
The emergency medical evacuations are driven by the directives of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has called for urgent assistance for a thousand Palestinian children among the injured and another thousand suffering from cancer. These steps reflect the UAE’s commitment to providing necessary healthcare in its hospitals, reaffirming its steadfast support for the Palestinian people in facing crises.

Coordination with International Organizations
Al Shamsi highlighted the importance of coordination between the UAE and international organizations, particularly the World Health Organization, to ensure the rapid transfer of critical cases for necessary treatment in the country’s hospitals. These efforts aim to provide comprehensive health, educational, and cultural services, which help alleviate the burdens on patients and their families, especially under the challenging conditions faced by the residents of Gaza.
Rapid Response to Crises
It is noteworthy that the UAE has not hesitated to respond to calls for help from Gaza since the onset of the crisis.
