A recent humanitarian aid convoy from the United Arab Emirates, consisting of 15 trucks, has entered the Gaza Strip, delivering crucial supplies amidst ongoing challenges faced by the region. This initiative continues the support under the “Hamid Air Bridge” campaign, which aims to assist Palestinian communities. The efforts demonstrate the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian outreach through the “Brave Knight 3” operation, showcasing the country’s longstanding dedication to aiding those in need.
The Emirati humanitarian aid convoy carries more than 195 tons of food parcels. This is part of the “Hamid Air Bridge” campaign to support Palestinian communities in the Gaza Strip, within the framework of the “Brave Knight 3” operation. The “Hamid Air Bridge” campaign was launched under the directives of Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, as part of the humanitarian and relief efforts implemented by the United Arab Emirates in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, reflecting the country’s steadfast approach to humanitarian work and extending a helping hand to those in need.
The campaign, which lasted for two months, sent over 600 tons of humanitarian and food aid to the city of Al-Arish, where the Emirati humanitarian aid team worked to receive and transport it to the UAE humanitarian aid logistics center. There, the supplies were sorted, prepared, and sent into the Gaza Strip based on humanitarian needs.
The “Hamid Air Bridge” campaign was carried out in cooperation with the “Brave Knight 3” operation and involved several charitable and humanitarian organizations in the country, including the Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, the Global Humanitarian Action Authority, the Emirates Red Crescent – Ajman branch, the Al-Ihsan Charity Association, and the Union Charity Foundation. These organizations contributed to the preparation and provision of food and relief aid, embodying the spirit of solidarity and humanitarian cooperation in support of the Palestinian people.
The UAE continues, through the “Brave Knight 3” operation, to provide various types of humanitarian and relief support to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, through land convoys, air bridges, and diverse relief and medical initiatives, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to standing by brotherly nations and reinforcing its humanitarian message in alleviating suffering and supporting those affected.
