The UAE has announced the end-of-year exam schedules for students in grades five to twelve, as the Ministry of Education revealed the dates for the third-semester exams for the academic year 2025-2026. The schedules vary based on the academic terms and educational tracks, highlighting measures aimed at providing a comprehensive educational experience for students in all public and private schools.
Exam Schedule for Grades Five to Eleven
The Ministry of Education celebrated the announcement of the end-of-year exam dates for students in grades five to eleven, which will commence on Wednesday, June 24, with the mathematics exam. This will be followed by the English exam on June 25, and then the science or specialized science subjects on June 29. On June 30, students will take the Arabic language exam, followed by Islamic education on July 1, and social studies on July 2. These grade levels will conclude their exams on July 3 with biology.
Exams for Twelfth Grade Students
In contrast, twelfth-grade students will take their exams in the general, advanced, and elite tracks on the same start date as the younger grades, beginning their exams on June 24 with mathematics. This will be followed by the English exam on June 25, chemistry on June 26, and physics on June 29. Students will sit for the Arabic language exam on June 30, followed by Islamic education on July 1, and social studies on July 2, concluding their exams with biology on July 3.
Organizational Procedures for the Exams
In preparation for the exams, the ministry has designated the period from June 15 to June 19 for the submission of assignments and final projects for “B” group subjects across all grades and educational tracks. Additionally, exams for grades five to twelve will be conducted electronically in schools implementing the ministry’s curriculum, and students are required to bring their own devices on exam day. The twelfth-grade English writing exam will also be conducted electronically as part of this year’s assessment procedures.
Coordination of Exams for Private Schools
The ministry confirmed that twelfth-grade students enrolled in private schools will take their exams in public schools under the supervision of the relevant authorities. The aim of this step is to ensure a uniform application of central exams at the national level. According to the approved schedules, exams for grades five to eleven will be held in the morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, while twelfth-grade students will conduct most of their exams from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, according to the approved schedule for each academic track.
