Global Bridge Tour: A New Beginning
The Global Bridge Tour, considered one of the key pathways of the global Bridge media platform, continues its journey through major cities around the world. It recently made a stop in Shanghai, China, following previous stops in New York, London, and Osaka, featuring a group of leaders and experts in the fields of media, technology, business, finance, and public policy.
The Shanghai stop provided a new opportunity for global dialogue regarding the ongoing transformations in media and information dynamics in our modern era. This tour is supported by the Bridge Alliance as part of a series of international discussions aimed at establishing a solid foundation for the future of media and technology and enhancing cultural cooperation among countries. These tours will culminate in the Bridge 2025 Summit in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10.
Rich Dialogues and Innovative Ideas

The discussions extended to cover how innovation and cultural influence can shape modern media narratives.
Dialogues also addressed the increasing role of Chinese platforms and creative talents in reshaping the global media landscape and how Chinese stories can influence international narratives. The discussions were moderated by John Darling, Co-Founder and CEO of Creative Capital Ventures, who gathered a group of media and technology leaders to explore the challenges and opportunities presented by this transformation.
Media as a Means for Cultural Change
Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Batti Al Hamed stated that the Shanghai stop is pivotal, given the diverse media and cultural models that China offers. He noted that the challenges facing global media are not limited to its tools and platforms but extend to the vision that guides it, emphasizing that despite technological advancements, there remains a need for a comprehensive intellectual vision focused on the human and social role of media.
Dr. Jamal Mohammed Obeid Al Kaabi affirmed that China represents a leading model in media innovation and cultural industries. He explained that integrating rich traditions with modern technology has enabled Chinese platforms and creators to present new insights, adding that the Bridge platform provides a global space for leaders and innovators to develop authentic narratives capable of making a deep and lasting impact.
