The “الفريج الصحي التطوعي المتنقل” festival, organized under the auspices of “زايد العطاء” and the Emirates’ readiness and response program “جاهزية,” brings together volunteers, government, and private sectors to create a model of community engagement and humanitarian support. Mobile Clinics and Health Education
The festival will unfold over a year, rolling through various emirates. Dr. Adel Al Shamari Al Ajmi, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative, stated that the festival features specialized buses equipped with mobile clinics, a sports center, healthy food units, and health education centers. The initiative aims to engage first-line healthcare volunteers from the Emirates’ medical reserve and volunteer programs, aligning with the visionary leadership’s commitment to a sustainable health future.
Promoting Healthy Lifestyles
According to Al Anoud Al Shamari, CEO of the Emirates Community and Specialized Volunteering Program “تطوع,” the festival encourages community members to adopt healthier lifestyles. This includes promoting balanced nutrition, engaging in physical activity for at least 30 minutes daily, quitting smoking, and correcting unhealthy eating behaviors. The overall goal is to enhance the quality of life and achieve sustainable health practices.
