The UAE Supports Gaza with 65 Tons of Medical Supplies
The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian efforts to support the Gaza Strip by providing 65 tons of medical supplies as part of its initiative to alleviate suffering in the region. This effort is part of ongoing collaboration with the World Health Organization and aims to enhance hospital capabilities and meet increasing health needs amid the challenging conditions faced by the area.
Urgent Medical Aid
As part of its ongoing support, the UAE has delivered a new shipment of medicines and medical supplies, including 11 trucks loaded with life-saving products. This aid aims to address the urgent needs of healthcare facilities, which are struggling with resource shortages due to the ongoing blockade. Representatives from the World Health Organization have confirmed that the UAE is one of the leading supporters of the health sector, praising its effective role in providing immediate relief.
Consistent UAE Commitment
The UAE continues to provide diverse support to the people of Gaza through “Operation Gallant Knight 3,” which includes projects in food, shelter, and education. In July, more than 22 relief initiatives were implemented, reflecting the UAE’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian people. Among these efforts, the UAE carried out the 61st aerial drop of humanitarian aid, in cooperation with other countries, to deliver relief to remote areas.
Improving Humanitarian Conditions
Ongoing relief efforts include providing thousands of food meals and supporting food kitchens, benefiting thousands of affected families. With the launch of a project to supply desalinated water lines, the UAE aims to improve living conditions in the strip, where many areas suffer from severe water shortages. In support of ongoing humanitarian measures, the total air aid has increased to over 3,818 tons, including food and relief materials directed to the most needy areas.
