During the meeting held in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed Dr. Constantinos Kombos, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus. The two leaders signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership in the energy sector between the two countries.
They also reviewed the outcomes of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s official visit to Cyprus last December, emphasizing its role in advancing prospects for strategic cooperation between the two nations. Sheikh Abdullah extended his congratulations to Dr. Kombos on Cyprus’s upcoming presidency of the European Council in 2026.
