The UAE and Bahrain Discuss Enhancing Cooperation in Knowledge Exchange and Development
The UAE and Bahrain are working to strengthen cooperation in knowledge exchange and development. Meetings and discussions among officials focus on building bridges of cooperation and exchanging expertise, in line with the shared visions of the leadership in both nations.
Meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received a delegation from the Government of the UAE. During this meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two governments in the areas of knowledge exchange, sustainable development, competitiveness, and government modernization. This dialogue aligns with the shared directions and visions of the leadership in both sisterly nations.
The Importance of Experience Exchange Between the Two Countries
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid emphasized the significance of exchanging experiences and building strong partnerships between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the UAE. He noted that this cooperation reflects the shared visions uniting both leaderships, highlighting the advanced levels of integration achieved between the two countries as evidence of the success of their relations.

During the meeting, Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange and Chairman of the National Committee for Sustainable Development Goals, expressed the UAE Government’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences in government work with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Lootah highlighted the progress Bahrain has made in sustainable development and government initiatives, noting that the UAE is dedicated to sharing its successful governmental models and practices with brotherly and friendly nations, thereby contributing to the expansion of innovation and development horizons.
Ongoing Cooperation in Innovation and Sustainability
The discussions during the meeting focused on the prospects for joint cooperation in government modernization and innovation in services, alongside sustainability. The UAE Government delegation later met with His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, where they explored areas of cooperation and the expansion of experience and knowledge exchange. The delegation also met with Nour bint Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Sustainable Development and CEO of the Economic Development Board, to discuss ways to enhance collaboration in sustainable development.
