In a move to foster international research collaborations and enhance scientific dialogue, the تريندز Center for Research and Consultations is set to embark on a research tour in Russia from August 20 to 26. This initiative aims to facilitate the global exchange of ideas on contemporary research and knowledge issues. By establishing a physical presence in Russia, تريندز aims to bridge connections with academic and research institutions worldwide, contributing to a vibrant intellectual discourse.
Participation in the Eurasian Partnership Forum
تريندز will kick off its research tour by participating in the “Eurasian Partnership Forum: Development Strategy,” held by the International Organization for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC) in Moscow on August 20 and 21. This forum seeks to promote international integration and create a broad Eurasian space based on equitable partnerships. Furthermore, it aims to fortify a multi-centric global system that encourages fair economic cooperation and aligns strategic interests.
During the forum’s opening session, تريندز will highlight “The Role of Think Tanks in Enhancing the Eurasian Partnership.” Additionally, it will present valuable scientific and intellectual proposals in two main sessions focused on strengthening business dialogue between Russia and the Gulf Cooperation Council and the impact of digital technologies and industrial development on boosting cooperation prospects.
Goals of the Research Tour
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of تريندز, emphasized that the initiative is designed to elevate global intellectual dialogue and exchange perspectives on pressing issues. It also aims to expand research and academic partnerships, promote impactful knowledge, and cultivate a culture of meaningful scientific inquiry. Importantly, the tour will empower young researchers by providing them with practical experiences through participation in international forums, positioning them to lead the future of scientific research.

Strengthening Strategic Research Partnerships
During its tour, تريندز will sign two research and scientific cooperation memoranda with the IOEC and the Valdai Discussion Club. Additionally, it will explore mechanisms for strengthening collaborations with various Russian research and academic institutions. This initiative aligns with efforts to enhance relations with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and China’s Belt and Road Initiative, all with the goal of establishing an intellectual dialogue rooted in mutual understanding and experience sharing.
Women’s Empowerment in Diplomacy
In a related event, تريندز will participate in a session titled “The Diplomatic Woman: Paths of Inspiration and Global Influence,” organized by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Russia on August 26, 2025. This session will showcase the experiences of female diplomats from various countries, presenting inspiring success stories of how they achieved their dreams and reached high diplomatic positions. The discussion will also highlight the empowerment of women and encourage them to pursue professional careers in diplomacy.
