Ajman — The Ajman Government’s summer programme, “Our Summer is Happiness 2026”, has wrapped up its first week with strong participation from students, children and young people, alongside a wide range of activities delivered by government entities and participating institutions. The programme is designed to make productive use of the summer break by building skills and reinforcing national and community values.
A varied opening week
The first week featured the launch of a broad mix of community, cultural, sporting, scientific and recreational activities, in addition to family-oriented events, summer centres for girls and boys, and specialised programmes aimed at developing participants’ abilities and refining their talents. These activities were offered in an interactive educational setting that combined learning with enjoyment.
Ahmed Al Raisi, head of the Supreme Organising Committee for the “Our Summer is Happiness 2026” events, said the first week marked a lively start to the programme and gave participants the chance to take part in new experiences across a range of fields.
Focus on practical experiences
He said the emphasis was not only on the number of activities, but on providing practical experiences that would have a positive impact and help uncover students’ interests while developing their capabilities.
