The Ministry of Family and Burjeel Holding have signed a partnership to enhance family health, prevention, quality of life, support for priority groups, and the development of marriage, fertility, and sustainable growth policies.
The Ministry of Family has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Burjeel Holding, aiming to unify efforts and integrate roles in developing and implementing programmes that promote family health, reinforce preventive health concepts, support vulnerable groups, and elevate the quality of family life. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s commitment to fostering healthy families alongside the Year of Family.
The signing ceremony was attended by Sana’a bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family, and Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Chairman and CEO of Burjeel Holding. The memorandum was signed by Marwa Almarzouqi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services, and Imran Al Khoury, Board Member of Burjeel Holding. The partnership specifically aims to tailor efforts between the Ministry and Burjeel Holding in developing and executing significant initiatives that enhance family welfare and quality of life.
Promoting Family Stability
Minister Sana’a Suhail emphasised the ministry’s ongoing commitment to expanding strategic partnerships with various national institutions. This effort is grounded in a shared responsibility to enhance family stability and quality of life, necessitating the unification of expertise and efforts.
She explained, “Through this partnership, we focus on launching practical initiatives with a sustainable impact.”
Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil expressed, “Family health and well-being are fundamental pillars for building a cohesive and prosperous society. We are proud to collaborate with the Ministry of Family to support its efforts in advancing family health through integrated healthcare programmes, preventive health initiatives, and specialised services that cater to the diverse stages of family life. By leveraging our medical expertise and resources, we aim to contribute to improving the health of mothers, children, the elderly, individuals of determination, and other priority groups, thereby supporting the UAE’s vision of fostering healthier families and a more sustainable community.”
