Essential Safety Guidelines
In a bid to protect citizens and residents, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided five key guidelines for safe travel. They strongly advise travelers to exercise caution when driving outside the country. It is recommended to opt for air travel whenever possible, as it offers a higher level of safety and comfort compared to road travel.
Adhere to Local Traffic Regulations
Another significant piece of advice is to respect local traffic laws and regulations in the destination country. The Ministry emphasizes that non-compliance can lead to severe penalties and jeopardize the safety of drivers and passengers alike.
Stay Informed About the Journey
Keeping abreast of road conditions and weather forecasts before and during the journey is equally vital. This knowledge allows travelers to make informed decisions about their routes and may help in avoiding hazardous situations. Proper planning can significantly enhance the overall safety of driving outside the country.

Finally, the Ministry encourages travelers to plan their trips with reputable tour and car rental companies.
