The run starts at the iconic Museum of the Future, where both new and experienced athletes can select between a 5km or 10km course tailored to their abilities.
The Scenic Route
This iconic race route will offer stunning views of some of Dubai’s most cherished landmarks. As runners make their way along Sheikh Zayed Road, they will pass the magnificent Dubai Mall, the architectural marvel of Dubai Opera, and the awe-inspiring Burj Khalifa. For those aiming for a longer distance, the course will stretch to the picturesque Dubai Canal before looping back towards Trade Centre, culminating at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Road Closures and Transportation
To facilitate the world’s largest fun run, Sheikh Zayed Road will be temporarily closed to traffic starting early on the morning of November 23. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has yet to announce alternative routes, but last year, closures began at midnight and lifted by 10 AM. Participants and spectators are encouraged to utilize the metro system, with the Dubai World Trade Centre station being the closest stop for those joining in the fun.
