In a remarkable summer initiative titled “Modern Skills with an Emirati Spirit,” ناشئة الشارقة has launched the “Skills Lab,” an extensive program featuring over 110 high-caliber offerings. This initiative is part of the “Your Summer with Us 2026” events and aims to empower youth across various domains. Located within five centers throughout the emirate, the Skills Lab provides a rich, interactive learning experience designed to cultivate innovation and creativity among participants.
Under the umbrella of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, ناشئة الشارقة has developed this program as a key component of its 25-year mission to nurture leaders and innovators. Starting in July, the Skills Lab will operate in multiple centers, including ناشئة واسط, ناشئة خورفكان, ناشئة كلباء, ناشئة دبا الحصن, and ناشئة الذيد, allowing participants to engage in a diverse and enriching curriculum organized into eleven distinct thematic areas.
A Vision for Empowerment
The Skills Lab reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, alongside his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Sharjah Family and Community Council. Their commitment to human investment emphasizes the importance of equipping newer generations with the knowledge, skills, values, and community service capabilities essential for a sustainable future.

The Skills Lab encompasses a broad array of programs covering essential fields such as Emirati culture, Islamic arts, cinematic arts, theater, and performing arts. Additionally, participants will explore artificial intelligence, science and technology, visual arts, crafts, modern media, and digital content creation. These offerings are complemented by vital life skills training, resulting in a comprehensive educational experience that merges knowledge with practical application and creativity.
