Sharjah Electricity Completes Development Projects for Overhead Lines in the Central Region by 2025
In a move that reflects its commitment to enhancing service quality, the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority has completed a series of development projects for overhead lines in the central region during 2025. The new projects include high and low voltage extensions, as well as the replacement of overhead lines with underground cables, contributing to network stability and providing integrated services for 99 projects across various sectors. With the installation of cables stretching 56,457 meters in the cities of the central region, the authority reveals an investment exceeding 13.704 million AED in infrastructure improvement.

Engineer Khalifa Mohammed Al Tani, Director of the Central Region at the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority, affirmed that the projects reflect ongoing efforts to develop networks in the central region. He stated that the authority continues to implement development projects to the highest standards, demonstrating its commitment to providing all necessary resources to achieve these goals.
