In a significant turn for cultural publications, the Sharjah Department of Culture has released the 74th edition of both “Al-Sharqiya” and “Al-Wasat” magazines for November 2025. These issues delve into developmental themes, spotlighting the transformative progress occurring in the Eastern and Central regions. This latest release reaffirms Cultural Sharjah’s commitment to promoting local narratives and fostering awareness of advancements in these vibrant areas.

The 74th issue of “Al-Sharqiya” features a special file titled “Achievements.” This section highlights the exhibitions organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at enhancing economic activities and expanding investment in the Eastern region. The rapid developmental momentum in this area, exemplified by the major projects launched by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, provides fertile ground for future successes.

In social analyses, “Darb Al-Qimma” engages us in a dialogue with Dr. Batool Omar Al-Ansari, a prominent leader in the health sector. Meanwhile, Sabeel Murad in “Authentic Features” offers glimpses of Khorfakkan and its people, and we take a look at the outstanding efforts of teacher Nahed Mohammed Saleh Al-Kaabi in “Educator of Generations,” a figure who has significantly contributed to the education and care of individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Sheikha Ali Obaid “Umm Salem” stands out as an influential figure in the field of heritage preservation.

Maryam discusses her literary research and future outlook, while Alia enriches their story about excellence, creativity, and winning awards.

In the 74th issue of “Al-Wasat,” the “Achievements” section highlights the major developmental works in the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Field. This field, which tells the story of the sport of our forefathers, has undergone significant transformation with the development of its tracks and facilities, reflecting years of successful investment and care.
