Sharjah 24 – WAM:
The Sharjah Charity Association has concluded a significant field visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, where it executed a range of humanitarian, health, and production initiatives aimed at improving the lives of many.
Humanitarian Efforts and Health Initiatives
During their mission, the delegation conducted 34 catheterisation and open-heart surgeries as part of the “Little Hearts” campaign. These critical health interventions are a testament to the association’s commitment to providing essential medical services to those in need.
Support for Families and Education
In addition to health-related efforts, the charity also distributed 100 packages to support productive families, ensuring that these families have the resources necessary to thrive. Furthermore, they provided 1,000 food baskets and school bags to over 10,000 beneficiaries, contributing significantly to the welfare of children in the area.
Spiritual Enrichment for Mothers
The delegation also facilitated 40 Umrah trips for the mothers of orphans under the “Ideal Mothers’ Umrah” initiative. This programme highlights the association’s dedication to not just physical support but also spiritual enrichment for the caregivers of vulnerable children.
A Commitment to Ongoing Support
Dr. Saeed Mushabak Al Kaabi, a board member who led the delegation alongside Ali Mohammed Al Rashedi, Head of the External Projects and Aid Sector at the association, articulated that this visit aligns with the association’s ongoing field visit strategy. The goal is to monitor the implementation of projects and assess the needs of the beneficiaries while launching new initiatives. They aim to ensure the sustainability of previously executed projects and continue making a lasting impact in the community.
