In a celebration of academic excellence, the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation recently honoured 164 outstanding students graduating from universities and secondary schools for the 2025-2026 academic year. This special event took place as part of the foundation’s “Learn by the Pen” initiative and was attended by numerous partners, supporters, and parents, held at the foundation’s headquarters.
The significant achievement of these graduates reflects the effective academic support system provided by the foundation, empowering students at various educational stages to pursue their academic journeys with confidence and distinction.
Commitment to Celebrating Achievements
Her Excellency Mona bin Huda Al Suwaidi, the Director-General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, emphasized that recognising exceptional students is a well-established tradition that the foundation is committed to reinforcing year after year. She illustrated the importance of celebrating these milestones in the students’ lives and enhancing their self-confidence, while also continuing to support their future aspirations.
Al Suwaidi remarked, “At the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, we strive to be partners with our sons and daughters at every stage of their lives. Today, we share one of their most beautiful moments; the moment of excellence and achievement. This celebration is not merely about academic results; it is a message of appreciation for all their hard work and a manifestation of our commitment to their happiness and recognition of their accomplishments.” She further assured the foundation’s ongoing support to help them achieve their ambitions and contribute effectively to their community.
Educational Support for Future Leaders
The “Learn by the Pen” initiative provides a comprehensive educational support system that helps create a stimulating learning environment, encouraging students to excel and continue their educational journeys until graduation.
In a generous motivational gesture, the event’s official sponsor, Versace Hotel Dubai, presented special rewards to the top four graduates of the secondary school cohort. This prize included a three-night hotel stay, featuring a programme of joyful experiences for the students and their families, designed to honour their academic achievements and encourage them to continue their journey towards success and excellence.
Recognising Partnerships and Community Contributions
The foundation also recognised the Versace Hotel Dubai for its generous support and sponsorship of the event, highlighting its contribution to celebrating exceptional students and promoting a culture of academic excellence.
Continuing its mission, the “Learn by the Pen” initiative empowers orphaned students by providing a complete educational system that accompanies them from their early academic stages through to graduation. This approach resonates with the foundation’s vision of cultivating a generation equipped with knowledge and skills, capable of shaping its future and contributing meaningfully to community development.
