Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the Ruler in Al Ain, recently inspected the progress of the Al Dhaher residential project, which is being developed by Laid Real Estate Development under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Authority. This initiative is part of a public-private partnership aimed at creating integrated residential communities across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

During his visit, Sheikh Hazza was briefed on the current state of the project and the completion percentages across various stages. He toured the show villas and reviewed the architectural designs, amenities, and services provided, all aimed at supporting the goals of sustainable urban development in the region.

Sheikh Hazza emphasised that providing adequate housing for citizens in Al Ain is a strategic priority within the broader context of comprehensive and sustainable social development in the region. He reiterated the importance of progressing towards a housing system that not only preserves the architectural heritage of Al Ain but also considers the current and future needs of Emirati families. The Al Dhaher residential project stands out as one of the key integrated housing schemes in Al Ain, with the first phase encompassing approximately 198 hectares of premium residential land in the Al Dhaher area. The project includes 1,000 villas featuring various models with 4, 5, and 6 bedrooms. Plot sizes range from 900 to 1,000 square metres, while building areas vary between 430 and 530 square metres, catering to the requirements of Emirati families and providing a modern, sustainable living environment.
Investment and Community Facilities
With a total development value of AED 3.126 billion, the project is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2028, resulting in an integrated living environment that marries modernity with tradition in Al Ain. The development will offer a comprehensive array of modern community facilities, including public and private schools, mosques, parks, open spaces, community and service centres, retail shops, as well as sports and recreational facilities.
