During Ramadan 2026, the parking company “باركن” has announced a new schedule detailing peak hours and parking fees. This significant update is designed to accommodate the increased vehicular activity during the holy month, making it essential for residents and visitors to understand how parking regulations will change.
New Parking Fees Schedule
“باركن” has established that public parking fees will apply from Monday to Saturday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and again from 8:00 PM until midnight. Importantly, all Sundays and official holidays will see free parking, providing a respite for drivers. Additionally, drivers can take advantage of two free hours each day from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in all areas where parking regulations are enforced.
Special Arrangements for Mosques
The company has also highlighted that parking around mosques, designated as M and MP, will be free throughout the day during Ramadan. This initiative aims to facilitate easier access for worshipers and community members visiting religious sites during this significant month. Furthermore, multi-story parking facilities will operate around the clock, catering to varying schedules and activities.
Peak Hours for Parking
Parking demand is expected to surge during peak hours, which have been set from 8 AM to 10 AM and again from 1 PM to 6 PM. During these times, drivers should be particularly mindful of the updated regulations, as all other payment hours, excluding the outlined free times, will be impacted by the busy schedules. Understanding these peak periods is crucial for those navigating the parking landscape during Ramadan.
As such, “باركن” continues to prioritize convenience and accessibility for everyone. By adhering to the new guidelines and recognizing peak hours, drivers can ensure a smoother parking experience during this busy time of year.
