In an exciting display of cultural engagement, the Mohammed bin Rashid Library is set to participate in the 35th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. The library’s participation will feature a rich cultural and knowledge programme, consisting of engaging panel discussions, workshops, poetry evenings, specialised performances, and interactive artistic experiences. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the library’s various services, initiatives, projects, and publications.
Cultivating the Cultural Landscape
Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouei, a board member of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, emphasised that the library’s involvement in the book fair strengthens its role in promoting cultural and intellectual activities, as well as enhancing the presence of literature and reading within the community.
A Comprehensive Knowledge System
He stated, “We are committed to presenting the library as a holistic knowledge system, which integrates books, content, cultural programmes, interactive experiences, and the preservation of heritage at every participatory event.” This reflects the library’s dedication to fostering a vibrant cultural dialogue and enriching the local community’s appreciation for literature and learning.
