A Vision of Integrated Development
The Mohammed bin Rashid Waqf District, developed under the auspices of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation and supported by Azizi Developments, spans an impressive two million square feet. With 330 million dirhams contributed by various investors, its revenues will be directed toward supporting housing, healthcare, and educational facilities, ensuring a sustainable flow of resources that promotes global education and health.
During the launch event, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum elaborated on the project’s details and its manifold facilities, all designed to adhere to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. In a post on his official X account, he stated, “We launched, with God’s grace, a waqf project costing 4.7 billion dirhams … Its returns will support health and education projects around the world.” The project will include a hospital capable of accommodating 90,000 annual patients, a medical university, schools for over 5,000 students, and residential buildings comprising 2,000 diverse housing units.
A Vibrant Community Hub

Its plan includes a state-of-the-art 250-bed hospital, a medical college, and schools that encompass all educational stages. To ensure a quality living environment, an integrated infrastructure will provide ample parking, expansive green spaces, a commercial boulevard, and a mosque, making it a premier destination that combines comfort and sustainability.
