In a significant development for the citizens of Dubai, the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment has officially launched the allocation of housing units in the “Wadi Al-Amradi” and “Al Aweer” projects, marking a major turning point in community support. This initiative, aligned with the 2026 Family Year, has been realized under the guidance of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma’a Al Maktoum, emphasizing the leadership’s commitment to enhancing the living standards of Emirati families. With a budget of 1.6 billion dirhams, this reflects the largest distribution of ready-to-move-in homes to date, enhancing the quality of life for residents and ensuring their well-being.
Project Overview
According to Mohammed Hassan Al Shahi, the Executive Director of the housing establishment, the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment has strategically designed its housing allocation to incorporate the latest technological advancements, thereby ensuring efficiency, transparency, and comfort for all beneficiaries. “The allocation process utilizes smart technology to guarantee the highest standards of governance and effectiveness,” he noted.
Innovative Allocation System
The distribution process relies on a digital reservation system via the “Dubai Now” application. Beneficiaries will receive notifications from the establishment’s call center team, inviting them to visit the housing allocation centers located in both the Wadi Al-Amradi and Al Aweer projects. These centers operate from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Housing Features and Community Infrastructure
The Wadi Al-Amradi and Al Aweer projects together comprise a total of 830 housing units worth 1.6 billion dirhams. “These homes have been constructed with modern standards in mind, focusing on privacy and future expandability,” emphasized Al Shahi. Each housing unit incorporates advanced infrastructure, modern road networks, and comprehensive community facilities designed to meet the needs of citizens.
The Al Aweer project features 398 housing units categorized as grants, with a budget exceeding 734 million dirhams. Each unit offers a constructed area of 4,000 square feet, accommodating spacious designs that include four bedrooms, a majlis, a living room, and a modern kitchen, thereby enhancing comfort and stability for families.
Similarly, the Wadi Al-Amradi project includes 432 grant housing units with a dedicated budget of over 767 million dirhams, mirroring the spacious design specifications of the Al Aweer project while providing essential outdoor spaces for future extensions or service annexes to accommodate the residents’ needs.
Government Commitment to Community Welfare
This initiative by the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment showcases the unwavering commitment of Dubai’s leadership to foster stable living conditions and housing solutions for its citizens. By prioritizing adequate housing options, the Dubai government aims to enhance the overall quality of life for its Emirati families, ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to live a secure and dignified life through innovative and sustainable housing solutions.
As the housing projects move forward, they stand as a testament to the future of urban living in Dubai, reflecting not just infrastructural development but a holistic approach to community well-being and familial support.
