The 27th season of “Wonderland” has come to a joyful close today, following a vibrant summer filled with entertainment and interactive experiences that captivated families and children at Sheikh Saeed Halls 1-3 in Dubai World Trade Centre. As the curtains fall on this year’s edition, the final day promises a diverse programme of events featuring live shows from Planet Entertainment, bringing children into realms of adventure and imagination.
Interactive Learning Experiences
This year’s “Wonderland” was not solely about games and amusement; it also provided various experiences that blend entertainment with education. Notably, the workshop on “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics – Create, Program, and Develop” offered children a hands-on introduction to the basics of AI and how intelligent systems make decisions, alongside building and programming robots.
An Abundance of Fun and Games
At its core, the event showcased over 130 games and interactive experiences, including skill games, children’s activities, video games, prize games, and race car simulators. This extensive range constituted the backbone of the destination throughout its 27th season.
Television Coverage and Engagement
The festivities extended beyond the Dubai World Trade Centre’s halls, as a special television programme aired on Sama Dubai, allowing viewers to enjoy the atmosphere of “Wonderland” from the comfort of their homes. Today, between 5 PM and 6 PM, the show will feature competitions, games, surprises, prizes, general knowledge questions, and physical challenges to engage audiences further.
A Summer Tradition in Dubai
Over the years, “Wonderland” has evolved into a staple event during the summer season in Dubai, leveraging the indoor setting to provide families with a space to enjoy while escaping the high summer temperatures. Organised by DXB Live, the event management arm of Dubai World Trade Centre, in partnership with the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, “Wonderland” is a significant component of the Dubai Summer Surprises programme.
As the last visitors bid farewell to Sheikh Saeed Halls this evening, another memorable season of “Wonderland” comes to a close. The event has solidified its place in Dubai’s summer family scene, leaving a legacy of experiences ranging from traditional games to innovations in robotics, AI, and contemporary interactive experiences.
