The priority is to build a regulatory system capable of keeping pace with rapid transformations in the pharmaceutical sector by updating frameworks and enhancing the integration between innovation and governance. Al Kaabi states, “We have adopted an advanced approach to developing the regulatory work system and improving procedural efficiency,” which enhances decision-making capabilities and increases the sector’s flexibility. The upcoming phase will seek to deepen this integration and complete the implementation of the authority’s strategy through 2026, focusing on effective partnerships that support the acceleration of innovation and sector competitiveness.

Enhancing Partnerships for Innovation

Dr. Al Kaabi clarified that one of the primary goals is to build strong partnerships with government entities and the private sector to ensure integration between healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
