A delegation from the International Humanitarian Charity Authority is embarking on a significant mission across Mauritania, Benin, and Senegal, with the goal of launching 150 charitable and humanitarian projects. This initiative is part of the authority’s ongoing commitment to expand its initiatives and enhance its humanitarian impact in communities most in need.

Project Inaugurations and Humanitarian Efforts

Led by His Excellency Dr. Khalid Abdul Wahab Al-Khaja, Secretary-General of the authority, the delegation will inaugurate a range of completed projects, including the construction of mosques and the drilling of water wells. Moreover, the delegation will roll out various initiatives such as food distribution and assistance to deserving families, aimed at addressing basic needs and improving living conditions.

Diverse New Initiatives

The upcoming visits will also introduce a suite of new projects, which encompass the construction and furnishing of mosques, maintenance of wells, establishment of Quran memorisation centres, and support for income-generating projects for families. Additionally, diverse food aid programmes and educational and developmental initiatives will be launched, all designed to provide essential services and promote self-reliance.

Commitment to Direct Engagement

Dr. Khalid Abdul Wahab Al-Khaja emphasised that these field visits underscore the authority’s dedication to engaging with its projects directly and understanding the real needs of beneficiary communities. This hands-on approach ensures that resources are directed towards the most urgent projects.

Translating Generosity into Impact

The inauguration of 150 charitable initiatives during this tour highlights the International Humanitarian Charity Authority’s commitment to its mission and the translation of donors’ generosity into tangible impacts. These initiatives aim to improve the lives of beneficiaries through access to clean water, mosque construction, educational support, and economic empowerment for families.

A Sustainable Approach to Charity

Dr. Al-Khaja reiterated that charitable work extends beyond project implementation and aid provision; it encompasses monitoring the effects of these initiatives and ensuring their sustainability. The authority prioritises field presence, direct communication with beneficiaries and partners, and actively listening to community needs while evaluating current projects and identifying new opportunities for positive change.

Strengthening Partnerships and Coordination

This visit also serves as a platform to strengthen collaboration and coordination with partner organisations in the targeted countries, refining project execution mechanisms to enhance efficiency and guarantee assistance reaches those in need. The authority intends to continue expanding its presence, inspired by the values of the United Arab Emirates and its enduring commitment to giving.

A Foundation of Trust and Dignity

Dr. Al-Khaja stated that the authority’s projects and initiatives are the fruit of the trust placed in them by donors, whose contributions are fundamental for the continuity of their mission. The authority is steadfast in its resolve to transform these contributions into sustainable projects that uphold human dignity and open new avenues for a better life.
