The UAE Ministry of Defence has extended an invitation to Emirati women interested in enrolling at the Khalifa bin Zayed Air College for the academic year 2025-2026. The Ministry provided details on the entry requirements, educational pathways, necessary documentation, and registration locations.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for admission, applicants must be female citizens of the UAE, aged between 18 and 22 years. They are required to have a minimum height of 165 cm, achieve an IELTS score of 5.0 or higher, and pass a medical examination as specified for first-class pilot candidates (1A-1B).
Additionally, candidates must possess a clean legal record, free from any criminal convictions that could tarnish their honour and integrity. They should not have been dismissed from military service for any reason, nor should they have completed their service in the armed forces. Successful completion of a personal interview and obtaining consent from a parent or legal representative are also prerequisites.
Academic Pathways
The Ministry has outlined two primary pathways for enrolment: the Elite Track and the Advanced Track, alongside general and applied tracks that are subject to specific academic requirements.
For the Elite Track, a minimum of 70% in secondary school is required, while the Advanced Track necessitates at least 80%. Applicants must also meet defined standards in English, Mathematics, and Physics. The general and applied tracks require a minimum secondary school percentage of 85%, with similar academic prerequisites in the aforementioned subjects.
Required Documentation
For registration, candidates must submit the following documents:
- Certified copy of the educational certificate.
- Two recent coloured photographs sized 4×6 cm.
- Two copies of the passport along with the original.
- Copy of the national identity card with the original.
- Copy of the birth certificate.
Registration Locations and Contact Information
The Ministry has designated three registration locations: the Abu Dhabi Recruitment Department (Al Nahyan Camp), the Al Ain Recruitment Department (Al Ain Camp), and the Sharjah Recruitment Department (Al-Rahmaniya area).
