In an effort to showcase the vast investment opportunities available in Dubai, the Dubai Chamber facilitated a dialogue in Paris aimed at French investors. This initiative, titled “غرف دبي تعرف المستثمرين الفرنسيين بفرص الاستثمار الواعدة في دبي,” emphasized Dubai’s status as a prime location for investment across various sectors, attracting significant interest from the French business community.
On June 9, 2026, an open dialogue was held in Paris, organized by the Dubai Chamber in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in France. The event gathered a selective group of 45 French investors to highlight Dubai’s most promising investment opportunities across key sectors. The meeting featured notable figures, including Fahd Saeed Al-Ruqbani, the UAE Ambassador to France, and Mohammed Ali Rashed Lootah, the Director General of the Dubai Chamber.
During the session, Lootah presented Dubai’s competitive advantages as a global business and investment hub, showcasing its position as a regional base for expansion in the wider Middle Eastern market. He noted, “Dubai continues to enhance its appeal to international companies looking to expand their operations and reach new markets.” The dialogue aimed to inform French investors about the supportive business environment, advanced infrastructure, adaptable regulations, and the comprehensive support that the Dubai Chamber extends to those interested in exploring the diverse investment opportunities within the emirate.
This event coincided with the membership surge of 211 new French companies joining the Dubai Chamber in the first quarter of 2026. This impressive growth brought the total number of active French companies registered with the Chamber to 3,275 by the end of March 2026, marking a remarkable 559% increase from the 497 French companies recorded in 2016.
Furthermore, trade figures underscore the strong economic ties between Dubai and France. The value of non-oil trade between the two regions reached 40.3 billion dirhams in 2025, up from 18.4 billion dirhams in 2021, demonstrating a substantial growth rate of 120% over five years. France has solidified its position as the third-largest trading partner in Europe for Dubai, accounting for 17.7% of Dubai’s total external trade with EU countries last year.
