The focus on advanced solutions for preserving maritime history will not only elevate the status of the UAE in the global sports arena but also promote a unified approach to data management and archival practices.
Collaboration and Integration
The launch of this project follows a strategic meeting with the National Archive and Library, during which key strategies for developing a cohesive national system for managing historical content were discussed. The federation emphasized the importance of high-quality digitization, material classification, and team training. There will also be a concerted effort to collaborate with marine clubs in the collection of historical data and materials, ensuring a thorough archiving process.
