Abu Dhabi is gearing up for its upcoming “LIFEX” exhibition, showcasing life quality and investment, with an engaging interactive tour featuring the launch of the “X” model. This initiative, organised by the Department of Municipalities and Transport, will kick off from Khalidiyah Park and explore various locations around the emirate, setting the stage for the exhibition to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from September 29 to October 1, 2026.
Unveiling the “X” Model
On Friday, the five-metre tall “X” model was officially unveiled, drawing inspiration from the letter “X” in the exhibition’s visual identity. It offers a dynamic visual display with moving content, light projections, and data presentations designed to illustrate the impact of investment and innovation on improving daily life across the emirate.
Tour Schedule and Free Access
Following its launch at Khalidiyah Park, the model will continue its tour to several public locations, including Al Ain Oasis on September 10, Al Jimi Mall on September 14, Sheikha Salama Park in Al Dhafra on September 17, and Yas Mall on September 20. Visitors can explore the model free of charge at each stop, without the need for prior reservations. This interactive experience allows attendees to discover stories and data highlighting aspects of life in Abu Dhabi, engage with the model, and capture memorable photos. The evening light shows and projections will offer a distinct experience for those visiting after dark.
Significance of the Tour
Mohammed Ali Al Shorfa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, emphasised the tour’s purpose: “The LIFEX Quality of Life and Investment Exhibition tour embodies the connection between our community and the impact of investment and innovation on their daily lives, paving the way for a global dialogue among decision-makers, investors, and experts in Abu Dhabi.”
Anticipated Exhibition Highlights
The tour will culminate at ADNEC, where the “X” model will be showcased throughout the LIFEX event. The exhibition program includes participation from over 100 international speakers and more than 40 exhibitors from over 50 countries, with expectations of attracting over 20,000 visitors and 1,500 investors.
