Empowering Future Generations through زود and ألفs Financial Literacy Initiative

In an era where financial literacy is crucial for future success, the partnership between Zood and Alif Education marks a significant leap towards equipping young minds with essential financial skills. Together, they aim to enhance financial awareness among the next generations, enabling them to make informed and sustainable financial decisions.

Innovative Partnership to Enhance Financial Literacy

Zood, the national initiative for financial well-being and sustainability, has announced a new partnership with Alif Education aimed at providing innovative digital lessons in financial literacy to students across the country. This step contributes to equipping them with essential money management skills, helping them make more conscious and sustainable financial decisions. Since the program’s launch in the first quarter of the year, financial education has reached 17,841 students in 111 schools, reflecting the significant impact of this initiative in a short period.

Joint Commitment to Financial Awareness

This partnership between Zood and Alif Education underscores both parties’ commitment to supporting the UAE’s national strategies, which aim to empower youth and enhance financial literacy in the community. By integrating practical financial education concepts into daily educational experiences, this collaboration reflects a comprehensive vision targeting financial stability and increasing individuals’ capacity to make informed financial decisions.

Comprehensive Educational Content

The program offers financial education content through the Alif platform for students from grades five to twelve, in both Arabic and English. This ensures inclusivity in education and empowers students to learn in their preferred language. The program includes interactive educational modules featuring simple explanations of financial concepts, alongside educational videos and practical activities that enhance understanding of financial principles from an early age. It comprises 72 digital lessons, with each grade level containing 9 lessons covering key topics such as budgeting, saving, responsible spending, and long-term financial planning.

Voices of the Partnership Leaders

Regarding this initiative, Mahna Al-Muhairi, Chairman of Zood, stated: “Empowering youth with financial knowledge is a fundamental pillar for building a sustainable and financially cohesive society. Through our collaboration with Alif Education, we are working to integrate essential financial skills into students’ educational journeys, contributing to the preparation of a confident generation aware of the importance of responsible financial decisions, thereby enhancing the growth and prosperity of the UAE in the long term.” For his part, Jeffrey Alfonso, CEO of Alif Education, remarked: “Our partnership with Zood represents a strategic step towards preparing a generation that combines academic excellence with financial awareness. We are working to empower students to develop critical thinking skills and build responsible financial habits.”

This partnership aligns with the UAE’s vision of empowering future generations by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a changing economy, reinforcing the importance of financial literacy as a strong foundation for sustainable national development.
